Message From the Mayor
As Mayor of the City of Owen Sound and on behalf of City Council and residents, I am very pleased and proud to extend a warm welcome to the 23rd Annual Festival of Northern Lights.
During the past twenty-three years, dedicated volunteers with vision, determination and commitment to the Festival have worked very hard to ensure that each year this award winning Festival is the best in the Province of Ontario!
Thousands of visitors to the city have enjoyed the enchanting display of lights. It truly is an outstanding tourist attraction for owen Sound and the area. I am told that this year the Festival will have over 350 displays for your enjoyment.
I welcome you to our beautiful city during the Festival. You will be greeted warmly by our residents and businesses. We in Owen Sound are very proud of our city and its Festival of Northern Lights.
